Computer Fundamentals

The Computer Fundamentals program introduces 8th grade students to the world of marketing, branding, and digital communication in business. Students learn how companies plan products, set pricing strategies, build brands, and promote products through digital platforms, especially social media.
 
Throughout the course, students explore topics such as customer relationships, product life cycles, branding, packaging, promotion strategies, and distribution, while also having the opportunity to earn an Industry Certification as a Social Media Strategist.

What do students do?

Students design and promote their own product by creating a full product package and marketing strategy. They learn how businesses use social media to build brand recognition, analyze performance through metrics and analytics, and develop strategies that help organizations reach their goals.
